Our passion is Andalusian wines and their culture. We have been working on the DECATAS Por Andalucía project for more than two years, a company that not only is dedicated to the distribution of Andalusian wines, but also strives to disseminate and showcase the vitivinicultural richness of the region. With this aim, we will work to offer a distinctive and highly characterful product along with specialized service. Additionally, at our venue you can attend various cultural events and training courses. We will also set up a tasting room where you can sample different selections of Andalusian wines.

Innovation
The importance of innovation and knowledge as sources of competitiveness is a fundamental pillar of the company’s activity. Innovation also has a field of application in the improvement of our society, from the perspective of the dissemination of humanistic and social knowledge and its application in new industrial and business processes.
DECATAS is firmly committed to participating in R&D projects related to wine and its culture, and with this aim we are working to identify the agents, both public and private, who are currently active in this field.
At DECATAS we are convinced not only of the value of innovation in products and services, but also in business management processes. DECATAS firmly believes that the future of business management lies in understanding, fostering, and efficiently leveraging the interaction of people and ideas.
According to Steven Johnson, who in his book “Where Good Ideas Come From” analyzes creative environments, ideas evolve and turn into new reusable ideas, but in a rather unstructured and unpredictable way. In other words, the connection of ideas by itself generates improvement, creates innovation, and allows better practices without the need for structure. To properly manage these ideas, DECATAS has chosen various formulas depending on the content.

The notion of openness to the environment, to the context, which we consider fundamental when introducing the concept of open innovation, has very diverse consequences for the different components and phases of innovation processes. In particular, and in a simplified manner, DECATAS intends to share with the agents to whom its products/services are aimed a significant part of the development process of those same products/services. Betting on this type of innovation means that the ways of structuring work/development within the organization must be aligned with the functioning of the groups that will be involved, as they are considered decisive components of the new strategy.
After all, innovation is a process that does not arise spontaneously, but is based on a series of approaches, action models, methods, techniques, and specific tools that enable organizing and analyzing needs, resources, and the appropriate methods and actions to address a given problem. Over the coming years, DECATAS will work on defining criteria to detect those topics that, due to their relevance, should require priority analysis. One of the purposes of this reflection is to evaluate to what extent identifying these criteria can contribute to advancing two lines of action for DECATAS: improving resource efficiency and facilitating internal cohesion of the projects to be developed.
